The challenge in implant dentistry, today, is to provide the edentulous patient, or the one with a failing dentition, with an immediate placement, immediate load solution, predictably…to remove an arch of failing teeth, and place implants and a fixed restoration in the same day. The All-on-4® Treatment Concept meets this challenge. All-on-4® is a graftless solution that makes use of the available bone to place a combination of 4 to 6 axial or tilted implants. These implants support an immediate fixed provisional, and later a definitive full arch restoration. This presentation will discuss the prosthetic and surgical components of the All-on-4® Treatment Concept, and the relationship between the surgeon, the restorative dentist, and the laboratory.
